Mark Machan

Elder

Pastor Mark has served as Woodside's (formerly FBAmelia) Lead Pastor since 2015. Mark has a passion for expository preaching, mentoring elders, and discipling believers. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in ministry and is a graduate of Liberty University Seminary where he earned his Masters of Theology. Prior to coming to Woodside, Pastor Mark served in bi-vocational lay ministry, while serving several communities in law enforcement and as Chief of Police. Today, Mark’s gospel conviction and evangelistic zeal drive him to passionately “make disciples who make disciples.”

Mark and his wife, Sandra, have two adult sons: Evan and Andrew.

Jimmy & Melissa Bishop

Worship Leader

Jimmy and his wife, Melissa, are worship leaders at Woodside Church. Music has always played an important role in their lives whether it be through church growing up or in school. God led them to serve at Woodside and they are so happy to be doing so. God blessed them to impact others through music that glorifies the Lord. Worship is so much more than music; it's a lifestyle! Melissa attended Northern Kentucky University for Music Education and plays piano and flute. Jimmy plays guitar and both are lead vocalists for our church. 

 

Jimmy and Melissa have been married for 12 years and have 3 beautiful little girls, Ava, Elle and Mira.

Brian & Kristin Young

Media Director

Bryan and Kristin are part of the original ministry team with Pastor Mark and his wife. Bryan has a degree in audio video production that he loves utilizing at Woodside Church. Kristin has been helping with presentations for Woodside since the beginning. In their free time, the Young’s love traveling and exploring new places. Both feel blessed to be a part of the media team at Woodside and invite anyone to ask them how they can help.They love serving the Lord through media.

Bryan and Kristin have been married three years.
